What We Believe

We believe the Bible is God's inspired word and that it is our only authority for life and faith.

We believe that God is one, yet in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, born of the virgin Mary, who died upon the cross for our sins and rose on the third day to lead the way to eternal life. We also believe that only through Jesus Christ can man find salvation and acceptance with God.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the eternal third person of the Trinity, just as fully God as the Father and the Son. We believe that His ministry is to fill every believer and to work to produce the fruit of the Spirit in our lives.

We believe in salvation by faith apart from works, the eternal security of the believer, the pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ, and the Resurrection of every believer.

We believe the local church is to be a witness in this world to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is not subject to any governmental or ecclesiastical control apart from the local congregation.

We believe that church membership is open to all who have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and who have been baptized by immersion.
