It's all about Jesus!

Jesus was a man who claimed to be God. Think about that for a moment. If Jesus is who he said he was, how would it change the way you looked at and lived this life?

Jesus might be the most loved and most hated person in the history of the world. More art, more music, more literature has been focused on Jesus more than anyone who has ever lived. Even the dynamics of calendared time (B.C. and A.D.) are based off of his life.

Someone this important is bound to have many friends and many foes.
Everyone has some concept of who Jesus is. This may be based on a family tradition, media, or books. What you believe about Jesus is important. More significantly, right belief about Jesus is what matters most.

At MBC, we take Jesus at his word. We believe that Jesus is God. Because of this, everything we do is all about Jesus. We invite you to learn more about Jesus, his word, his way and how you can find new life in him.

Community Presence

" You are the Light of the world, A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16

Every community has needs: homelessness, family difficulties and educational deficiencies just to name a few. If you stop for a moment and think about the needs in this community, you might be overwhelmed. So, how do you bring renewal to a community?

It all goes back to Jesus. As a church, MBC affirms the Bible's teaching that goodness, truth, love and grace come into communities through God's Truth in the local church. MBC serves Jesus in our community through prayerful, intentional, regular presence - telling God's truth in a way others can hear and see.
PRAYERFUL
We can't meet every need. We can't solve every problem. However, we can meet some needs and help bring solutions to some problems in our community. We pray for our community; for God to give us wisdom and resources to meet needs. When we see needs and resources come together, we know that God is moving through MBC to make a difference through prayerful, humble presence.
INTENTIONAL
As we see needs and resources come together, our desire is to be intentional in meeting needs and bringing solutions to problems in our community. MBC is strategic in developing local and global partnerships to do the most good. This strategic emphasis is being in our community with intentional presence.
REGULAR
Making a difference doesn't happen in a single moment. To really make a difference in a community, presence must be regular. As we seek to bring renewal into our community through God's goodness and grace, we encourage each member and guest of MBC toward regular presence.
For more information on how to get involved in community presence contact our Community Connection Team.

Family Ministry

What if...
What would it look like to encourage families in our community with compelling faith? What if following Jesus was more than going to church? What if faith came alive in our homes among our family and within our friendships? What if parents, grandparents, guardians, neighbors, teachers, teens, and kids regularly encountered God? What if families learned to hear God’s voice and respond? What if this faith brought the goodness and grace of God here?

How would our world be changed?

MBC hopes to change our world for the good. Our goal is to shape spiritually healthy followers of Jesus. We want to foster new generations that are pursing an active relationship with God and who look to make positive differences in their world.

We believe that the Bible affirms this passion. Our strategy for shaping spiritually healthy followers of Jesus begins at home. Regardless of your home dynamics, we believe God desires to refresh and renew your home for His good purposes.
